A better way to get to better work. Partners in Crime is a new kind of relationship between client and creative agency. We exist to help established brands, early-stage companies, individuals and agencies scale to meet the moment, whatever it may be. We make smart, strategic work that wins hearts and minds, and moves business.
Our creative syndicate emerged from the quest to challenge industry norms, forge a modern iteration of a traditional agency, and engage in more meaningful ways of working with our clients and our collaborators. We started PiC to be able to focus on all the parts we love the most about advertising: creative problem solving, moving business with strategic ingenuity, and working with diverse brands and teams who share our interests and values.
Today, Partners in Crime is the world’s largest five person agency. Our core team members are mavericks of project management, design, creative direction, and account management. Maintaining a lean core team enables us to be nimble, responsive, and tailored to the exact needs of our clients and projects, flexing up and down in scale with precision. Remaining small is a continuous conscious decision. By scaling up and down talent on an as needed basis, we offer our brand partners access to talent they otherwise would not be able to afford, and we offer our independent contractors the chance to do the piece of the project they most love doing.
Our allies and associated artists thrive on flexibility. They are in charge of their fate. Creativity is their soul food. They know it is dynamic and generative – that it is greater than the sum of its parts. Our collaborators understand that creativity needs to be fed with different experiences, perspectives, and insights to grow and evolve, which is why having the flexibility to work on the projects of others, as well as their own pursuits, is something they value greatly. It is less about title, and more about talent, experience and interest. It’s a win/win proposition that allows great ideas to be developed for all types of clients.
